The formal element: texture
This Image mostly relates to the formal element texture as in the image you can see the detail of the paint chipping, the wood from the tree and the textured wall therefore fitting into this category |
The formal element: perspective
In my opinion this goes under the formal element perspective. This is based on the angle at which I have taken the Photo and how close up I have made it. For example specific details all clear such as the leaf. |
The formal element: layer
In addition this goes under the formal elements layers. In my opinion the the leaves are growing over the wooden door which has been placed onto the wall creating a layered affect. |
The formal element: negative space
Finally I believe that this image goes under the formal Element negative space as the majority of the Picture is taken up with the plain concrete wall and only a small fraction of the photograph is the flowers. |
www: I successfully took a series of differnt images that show the contrast between man and nature within the school environment.
EBI: I could take a series of more interesting shots in other environments for example at home or in central London. |
The formal element: negative space
This formal element is the negative space because again majority of the image is the clear sky however this is also effective as it focuses people on the building and helped to emphasise it. |
The formal element: perspective
I think that this formal element is perspective as he has really thought about the camera angle used to photograph this and how we wants it TV perceived to other people. |
The formal element: geometric space
Finally this formal element goes under the heading geometric Space purely based on shape of The building against the clear sky again successfully creating an illusion. |
The formal element: perspective
This image is one I really like and edited on photo shop to stand out and appear more effectively to whoever is viewing the photograph. This goes under the formal element perspective based on the angle at which I took the picture. The formal element: negative space
For this image I wanted to follow the similar conventions of the link artist and so decided on making the image black-and-white. This emphasises the formal element negative space within the image an overall make the image see more professional. The formal element: geometric shape
Coming to the end of my edits for this work I again made the photo black-and-white when editing to connect more to the link artist this is emphasised the formal element the Geometric shape which I believe this image goes under as it highlights the shape of the building in detail. |
The formal element: layers
For this picture also edited on photo shop, I liked the idea of having the reflections of the sky bounce off the building. This is based on angle angle at which I took the picture and in my opinion makes the image part of the formal element Layers. The formal element: tone
Again I wanted to the conventions of the link artist for this work and so decided to make the image black-and-white when editing. By doing this I believe this photo Falls under the formal element tone. The formal element: perspective
Finally I have decided to include another edit that I really liked which again is in black-and-white and falls under the formal elements category perspective. I really like the specific detail within this image but also the simplicity of it which I created due to the camera angle at which I took the picture. |
